A private twelve-day journey through northern Tanzania and historic Stone Town. Explore Tarangire and Lake Manyara, spend three nights in Central Serengeti and descend into Ngorongoro Crater before flying to Zanzibar. Arusha
Arusha is a practical starting and finishing point for many northern Tanzania safaris, linking airport arrivals with the road routes toward Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. A stay here gives time for rest, briefing and any separately arranged town or farm activity before longer travel begins. The city and its surrounding accommodation areas vary considerably, so the stay is shaped by the actual accommodation selected. Arusha is most useful as a comfortable transition between travel and the safari itself, rather than an assumed sightseeing package.

Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park. Explore baobab woodland and the river valley with your private guide, with game viewing and a packed lunch arranged around the journey. Later, continue to your booked accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay.

Central Serengeti
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop for a packed lunch during the journey, then enjoy game viewing as you travel towards your camp in Central Serengeti. This is a transfer day with afternoon game viewing. Dinner and your overnight stay are at your booked camp.

Ngorongoro Crater
Leave Central Serengeti after breakfast and travel to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the crater for game viewing with your private guide, with a packed lunch during the day. After the crater visit, continue to Africa Safari Karatu for dinner and your overnight stay.

Stone Town
After breakfast in Karatu, travel by your private safari vehicle to Arusha Airport for your included flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, a private transfer takes you to Tembo House Hotel in Stone Town. Settle in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Your four-night stay at Tembo is on bed and breakfast; lunch and dinner are at your own expense.
